Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo from the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to play rehearsals and watching her mother do her job. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They were engaged in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of that year. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk was doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode premiered on January 6 2013, announced on Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an extensive online presence using social networks.
